I prepare. It's what I do.
I have pulled down the following books from my library to look over & study while waiting to start my basics, basics, basics class on my road to my masters.
"Stitchionary" by Vogue Kning (Volume one Knit & Purl)
"Complete Guide To Needlework" by Readers Digest (my version is an oldie but goodie!)*mine has a different cover*
"Victorian Lace Today" by Jane Sowerby (a very valuable resource to lace knitting)
I have prepared a HUGE 3 ring binder for my work, paper for writings, and plastic protective sheets
I purchased the suggested Cascade 220 yarn (after reading others responses from others who have taken the classes as to what has worked well for them)...I hope I have enough!
